A New Roof for a Beloved Easthampton Gathering Place

At Peak Performance Roofing, we believe being a local business means more than providing quality roofing services. It also means finding ways to give back to the communities that support us. In 2023, we had the opportunity to do just that by donating a complete roof replacement for the Millside Park Bandshell in Easthampton, Massachusetts.

Located on Ferry Street alongside the Manhan Rail Trail, Millside Park is a familiar gathering place for local residents. From outdoor concerts and community celebrations to summer evenings enjoying live music, the bandshell has long been part of Easthampton's vibrant arts and music scene.

How the Project Started

The idea began when James Flannery, owner of Peak Performance Roofing, noticed the bandshell's aging roof while walking along the nearby bike path. As a longtime live music enthusiast who has attended countless local performances, James understood how much this outdoor venue means to the community. Seeing the roof in need of attention, he recognized an opportunity to put his team's roofing expertise to good use.

We reached out to the City of Easthampton and offered to donate a full roof replacement.

Our crew got to work, installing a new roof to help protect the bandshell from New England's changing weather conditions and keep this important community space ready for future events.

Giving Back to the Community That Supports Us

For our team, this project was about much more than replacing a roof.

It was about helping preserve a space where neighbors gather, local musicians perform, and families create lasting memories.
